In November 2005 I travelled to Tysfjord, Northern Norway, in order to see Orcas and the Northern Light. In the End of November the light is not very good for photography because the sun doesn't come up anymore. So some days, especially when it was overcast, it was almost impossible to take pictures. But only ALMOST:-) There were some wonderful days though with the most amazing colors! WOW! AND the orcas were fun! It was fantasic to see the carousel feeding so close to the boat. Spyhopping is one of the best things that can happen to a whale watcher. It seemd that the Orcas are as curious as we were. They did "people watching":-)
I went again in November 2006. Some new pictures will
come up soon! New to me were the Pilot Whales.
